Solar as we know it
Low Power Density: Current solar technology requires ample land or roof space to produce enough power and energy.
Low Capacity Factor: Fixed-tilt 2-diemnsional solar systems do not maximize power and energy production throughout the day and throughout the different seasons. This results in a low capacity factor.
Elevated Costs: The need for land and space, coupled with a relatively low capacity factor, drive up energy costs.
3-Dimensional Solution
Low Footprint: Janta's 3-D solar technology reduces land usage while increasing power and energy produced. This gives 3-D solar an exceptionally high power and energy density.
Higher Capacity Factor: Janta’s towers are both 3-D and tracking. The combination allows the towers to capture optimal sunlight throughout the day and throughout the different seasons. This results in a higher capacity factor.
Cost-Effective: Janta has pioneered a technology that requires little land and space, produces high amounts of power and energy, and has a high capacity factor. This combination gives us one of the cheapest energy costs in the world.
